 Now lastly we arrive at the & sign.  The & is interpreted by the mud as a slight pause.  We add &'s to the end of the spell spam to give time for the spell to stop casting.  If you don't have enough pauses in the alias the spells will cancel over and over as you try to recast.  If that is happening to you, you need to add more &'s.  The end goal is to include as few &'s as possible in order to cast spells as fast as you can.  As your [[spellcasting|spellcasting]] skill increases your spells will cast faster.  Thus when you level up you might need to adjust and shorten your spam aliases for peak efficiency.\\
