Throw

Throw allows a player to throw his or her main hand weapon or
a potion at a target.

Usage: throw <item name to be thrown> <target to be thrown at>

Weapons must have the THROW flag to be thrown.
Damage of weapon throw is determined by the weight of the weapon.
If the weapon is a stab weapon, then the formula is:
(weight * character_level + 1) / 2
Otherwise, it is:
(weight * character_level + 3) / 4

NOTE: Weapons fall to the floor after being thrown!

On that note, anything dropping in a 'dump' room (which is usually clearly described in the game) will disappear/be destroyed. so don't throw your quest weapon when you're in the dump.

darknight : Level 60 (excellent)

illusionist: Level 60 (excellent)
paladin : Level 60 (excellent)
pirate : Level 42 (excellent)
swordsman : Level 60 (excellent)
rogue : Level 8 (excellent)
necromancer: Level 25 (excellent)
